At the Department of Information Security (DIS), we focus on cyber security, cryptology, network and system security, malware detection, secure hardware and software design and partly numerics. We teach the practical and theoretical fundamentals of ICT security required in dealing with the security aspects of software and hardware design. In our courses, students learn about cryptological principles and how to detect computer network attacks. We are involved in the Research Centre for Informatics (RCI) projects. We have several modern laboratories where we do research.
