Bachelor and Master Timetable for the 2019/2020 Summer Semester

The summer semester is from February 17 to September 20, 2020. Classes start on February 17, 2020, the first week is even. The examination period is from May 18 to June 27, 2020. The Bachelor final state examinations are within the period of June 15–26, 2020, and the Master ones are within the period of June 8–12, 2020. For evaluations of the claim to the merit scholarship for the summer semester, the study results stored in the KOS on the date of evaluation are included, i.e. until mid-November 2020.

Instruction Period

Classes are in 13 instruction weeks: from February 17 to May 16, 2020. Students have to obtain summer semester assessments by the end of the instruction period, i.e. until May 16. 2020. Course guarantors may extend this deadline for their courses, but no later than by the end of the examination period, i.e. until June 27, 2020.

Days off and Vacation

During the instruction period, classes are cancelled due to public holidays. Rector’s Day is announced on May 13, 2020, and summer holidays are within the period of June 29 – August 30, 2020.

Summer holidays

Final State Examinations

Only students who meet the deadlines can take final state examinations in the summer semester. If students do not manage to submit their final theses in due time, they may submit them by the end of the examination period, i.e. until June 26, 2020. However, these students cannot take the FSEs before the next semester.
