The lecture is focused on the quality of information systems and its measurement and evaluation. It is divided into the three parts. The introductory part  presents the basic terminology, quality structure and its understanding from different perspectives and approaches. The second part deals with international standardization of software quality. The current state-of-the-art and perspectives, particularly the ongoing project SQUARE, will be reported in more detail. The third part is devoted to the measurement and evaluation of software quality.

Short CV:

Michal Příbrský received PhD at the Department of Information Engineering of the Czech University of Life Sciences.  His research interests include software quality measurement and normalization. For several years he worked as an operations manager at CSOB. He currently works as a project manager in the same company.
