FIT ČVUT in cooperation with CQK Holding and EMC2 invite you to Peter Kukol´s lecture on Virtualization and Cloud Computing taking place 26 April 2011, from 18:00 hrs, at National Technical Library, Balling´s hall. The lecture is in Czech language only.

Cloud computing is concededly a state-of-the-art access to using, building, and implementing information systems in businesses which cannot do without IT support. This lecture on Virtualization and Cloud Computing is a possibility for you to learn more about this topic in practice, for instance after finishing your FIT studies.

Short CV of Peter Kukol:

Peter Kukol, Senior programmer, VMware. Currently he works on developing a new cloud computing platform, known as Cloud Foundry or Open PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service,) and which is a Cloud OS successor based on VMware v Sphere. Peter lives in the USA and his career includes besides VMware also Bornland, Microsoft, and Google (chronologically).

FIT Informatics Evenings is a series of lectures and workshops organized by the Faculty of Information Technology of the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU). The series aims at students, CTU employees, and professionals in informatics
